I have to say that Cindy Woodsmall is probably one of my favorite authors. I recently finished The Christmas Singing, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
The Christmas singing is a wonderfully written story that follows a young Amish girl, Mattie. Mattie is a cake decorator who moved to Ohio after her heart was broken by her long time beau, Gideon. While in Ohio, Mattie becomes involved with Sol, a man with whom she feels her heart is "safe." However, she can't escape the voice from her past. "Is it behind your ear, Mattie Lane? " After a fire destroys her shop, she is forced to move home and face Gideon again after three years. She discovers the real reason for his betrayal, and is forced to choose between the man who has held her heart since childhood, and the man who she knows will never let her down.
I recommend this book to anyone. If you have never read any Amish fiction, this is one to start with.

I love the Amish!
I don't know why, but every since I was a small girl, I have been obsessed with all things Amish. I recieved a book from B4B to read and review. It was right up my alley. The Harvest of Grace, written by Cindy Woodsmall, is probably one of my favorite books to date. The heartfelt stories of the main characters, Sylvia and Aaron, kept me glued to this book until the very last page. Sylvia is a young Amish woman who was betrayed by her boyfriend and sister. When she felt she couldn't face another day in near them, she ran from her family to a new home, where she ultimately found love and forgiveness. I recommend this book to anyone who loves inspirational stories.
