I received a copy of Milan and Yerkovich’s book, How We Love Our Kids: The 5 Love Styles of Parenting, One Small Change in You...One Big Change in Your Kids (WaterBrook , March 15, 2011). I loved this book. It couldn’t have come at a better time. As parents, we face all sorts of challenges connecting to our kids. This book walks you through the different love styles of parenting, and how to overcome the challenges we face based on our own love styles. This book even provides you will a “toolkit” of words to use when talking to your kids. I liked this book so much I am going to read “How We Love” by the same authors. If you have kids and have trouble connecting or getting through to your kids, read this book.
